SENIOR ANALYST
Senior Analysts partner with the firm’s attorneys, consultants, and clients to perform complex analyses that drive effective solutions to workplace compliance, diversity, and systemic discrimination challenges. Applying a highly organized approach and advanced statistical techniques, senior analysts help identify, assess, and mitigate workplace risks by developing, producing, and interpreting analytical reports for the firm’s clients and those of its affiliated human resources consulting company, Employment Advisory Services, Inc. (EASI).
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal and external clients to manage data logistics, including facilitating data transfers, understanding data structures, and documenting business rules
- Provides SAS/SQL programming to analyze datasets, generate reports, and identify patterns, trends, and risks
- Assures accuracy and integrity of project data; oversees of validation, setup, and processing; mentors junior-level analysts
- Produces fully compliant reports and tabulations for submission to workplace regulators, including the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- Effectively communicates key findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability applying econometric and statistical methods to diagnose and solve problems
- Ability to display data visually, creating presentations demonstrating the value of data-driven decisions
- Strong customer/client service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to clearly discuss findings, conclusions, and recommendations, and ability to clearly and concisely document both processes and results
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment by establishing goals and prioritizing requests
- Knowledge of fair employment, affirmative action, and wage and hour requirements preferred
Education and Experience
- BA/BS in business administration, economics, statistics, mathematics, computer/information sciences, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analytics or research role
- Experience writing code that includes macro variables and loops in statistical software programs such as SAS, Stata, or R
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Access as both a report writer and a data repository
