The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has removed the online Contractor Assistance Portal from the agency’s website. According to OFCCP, discontinuing the Portal, which was launched in 2019 by former OFCCP Director Craig Leen, is somehow intended “to improve efficiency and better integrate compliance assistance efforts.”

The Portal was one of several significant compliance assistance resources launched during the Trump Administration under former Director Leen. It was designed to provide federal contractors with the ability to pose questions both to OFCCP and other contractors, and then share answers in an online community discussion forum. The online discussion threads were displayed and were searchable, allowing users to access the Portal to find answers to their questions, to research topics of interest, and to learn about their OFCCP compliance obligations.
