Demographic data related to academic degrees conferred by U.S. colleges and universities during the 2022-2023 academic year is now available in a series of tables prepared by the Center for Workplace Compliance, our affiliated nonprofit membership association.
CWC devised the tables to assist its members in formulating their college and university recruitment strategies. The tables contain the most recent demographic data by award level for the 38 broad degree families in which postsecondary degrees were conferred. The tables show race, ethnicity, sex, and citizenship by degree category. The data came from the U.S. Department of Education.
Furthermore, CWC has loaded the complete Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) 2022-2023 academic year data into its online Graduate Diversity Data Degree Analyzer and Diversity Finder tools, which are available through CWC’s online Data Center. CWC’s data mining tools allow CWC members to extract refined demographic data of graduates—filtered by degree type at the national, state, and individual institution level—and export the data to an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.
