NT Lakis staff will be facilitating the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) course Responding to Charges of Employment Discrimination. Designed for employer representatives who are responsible for managing fair employment compliance, this “online classroom” and self-paced course provides practical guidance on how to investigate and respond to a charge of unlawful harassment, discrimination, or retaliation filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or a state or local fair employment practices agency.
Through a combination of self-paced online modules, weekly one-hour web sessions, video clips, and online discussion forums, this program focuses on practical and proven steps for managing all phases of the charge investigation process, from initial receipt and response through final resolution or referral of the case to litigation. CWC courses have met the HR Certification Institute’s criteria to be pre-approved for recertification credit. CWC also is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits for SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM.

NT Lakis staff will be facilitating the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) course Fundamentals of Wage and Hour Compliance. Covering everything from minimum wage to misclassification, this intensive course lays out all of the FLSA’s key requirements to help HR professionals and employment counsel assess their overall wage and hour compliance profile and effectively audit and manage their FLSA risks. Through a blend of self-paced online modules and facilitated webcasts, this course covers a broad range of FLSA issues, including compensable time and off-the-clock risks, overtime exemptions for executive, administrative and professional employees, calculating regular rates of pay, and worker classification.

NT Lakis staff will be facilitating the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) course Developing Compliant Affirmative Action Programs. Learn how to structure, prepare, and implement fully compliant affirmative action programs for women, minorities, veterans, and persons with disabilities under the regulations enforced by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). This course is designed for HR and compliance professionals starting from scratch, fine-tuning an existing program, or overseeing a third-party consultant.
This virtual course covers how each component of a fully compliant supply-and-service AAP should be developed and used to ensure full compliance with federal contractor EEO and affirmative action requirements. You’ll also learn how AAPs can be aligned with broader diversity and inclusion goals, including D&I representation metrics.

NT Lakis staff will be facilitating the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) course Managing OFCCP Compliance Evaluations. Learn what you need to know to successfully manage each stage of an audit by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
Taught by experienced practitioners who have managed and advised on hundreds of OFCCP compliance evaluations, this course examines the key elements necessary for a successful audit outcome, including preparation, timeliness, completeness, candor, and good-faith collaboration. This virtual course provides participants with practical strategies and tactics for demonstrating compliance with all OFCCP-enforced requirements.
