The Illinois Department of Labor (IDOL) recently sent out a first batch of selection notices via email to some 625 Illinois employers informing them that the deadline this year for submitting their first Equal Pay Registration Certifications (EPRC) and employee pay data will be May 24, 2022. The state’s new registration and pay data reporting requirements, which are similar to the since-discontinued EEO-1 “Component 2” pay data reporting requirements, are mandated by SB1480, a bill enacted last year amending the Illinois Equal Pay Act of 2003.
