The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the quasi-judicial body responsible for interpreting and enforcing the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), has issued several more important rulings that reverse controversial policies set during the Obama Administration that the current Republican-controlled Board majority believed improperly skewed the balance of employee and employer interests in favor of employees. Among the major issues addressed by the Board in this latest round of rulings are an employer’s right to put curbs on union solicitation efforts and the legality of workplace rules intended to regulate employee conduct.
