The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has officially extended the filing deadline for Employer Information (EEO-1) Reports to Friday, June 1, 2018.

The 2017 EEO-1 reports were originally due by March 31, 2018, but many employers subsequently requested and received automatic 30-day extensions due to various technical difficulties they encountered with the EEOC’s online filing system. Last week, the EEOC updated the EEO-1 survey homepage to include an announcement that the 2017 survey is still open and the filing deadline has now been extended to June 1 for all filers.
