Enforcement data posted recently by the Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) show a 30% increase in overall compliance audits completed by the agency during Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 as compared to the previous year. OFCCP reports that it closed 1,099 audits in FY 2019, compared to the 812 audits completed in FY 2018.

The numbers also show that OFCCP secured over $40 million for impacted class members during FY 2019, a record amount, and a whopping $16 million more than the previous record year of FY 2017.

NT Lakis attorneys have prepared a summary of these enforcement numbers, including a number of charts presenting the data in graphic form. The raw numbers, along with OFCCP’s own analysis of the data, are available online.
