OFCCP’s Ombuds Service was first announced in an agency directive issued in September of 2018.1 New Directive 2020-04, “Ombuds Service Supplement,” provides the operational details of the Ombuds Service, which has been under development by OFCCP Ombudsman Marcus Stergio since last summer, and additional information and guidance on the role of the OFCCP Ombud and the standards the Ombuds Service will adhere to. OFCCP recently issued a directive providing additional details about the Ombuds Service.
