Last week, we held a virtual roundtable to discuss the very latest developments concerning compliance with government COVID-19 vaccine mandates, including the federal contractor mandate and the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) covering larger employers recently issued by the Labor Department’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Regrettably, the biggest takeaway from our forum was a clear sense of frustration among participants in light of a changing legal landscape that continues to impact compliance initiatives.
Although we cannot predict at this point what the outcome of the various legal challenges that have been filed against these mandates will be, we can tell you where things stand as of today and offer some insights as to what might happen next.
