Last month, more than 100 member and non-member company representatives gathered in Dallas, Texas for the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) fourth annual Talent Acquisition Compliance Summit (TACS). The conference was facilitated by NT Lakis attorneys and non-attorney professionals.

Each year, TACS brings together human resources, compliance, legal, and recruiting professionals to discuss the current legal and regulatory challenges and obligations facing the talent acquisition function, primarily in the context of their affirmative action obligations as federal contractors.

The May 16-17 summit featured NT Lakis staff experts who facilitated discussions and provided technically sound guidance designed to help attendees manage and mitigate workplace risks associated with talent acquisition. The TACS agenda offered plenary sessions, Applicant Tracking System (ATS) roundtables, and two sets of “track” sessions, one on policy and practice and the other a boot camp on TA basics aimed at new talent acquisition professionals.
