The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit has granted a request by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to dismiss the government’s appeal of a lower court’s orders last year that reinstated the controversial requirement for covered employers to report pay and hours-worked data (“Component 2” data) on a revised EEO-1 Report, agreeing with the government that the issue is now moot because the Component 2 collection has been completed.
