NT Lakis attorneys are pleased to present the second in our two-part series of guides presenting a digest of state and local affirmative action requirements. The first guide looked at state AAP requirements, and this guide summarizes local AAP requirements.

We have designed the digests to identify and help employers comply with state and/or local AAP requirements beyond those enforced by the U.S. Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).

Please note that the digest is designed to provide an overview, along with a brief description, of those localities that impose their own affirmative action requirements, and is not intended to provide legal advice. These requirements can vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and employers are advised to consult with counsel as to the steps that may be necessary to comply with a particular locality’s requirements.
