The Labor Department’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS) has formally requested permission from the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to continue using the current version of the VETS-4212 form for another three years. The Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association, supports DOL-VETS’ request.

Covered federal contractors must file a VETS-4212 form annually with DOL-VETS. The form is designed to collect a snapshot profile of a contractor’s workforce by protected veteran status, location, and the job categories used in the Employer Information (EEO-1) Report.

The federal Paperwork Reduction Act requires DOL-VETS to receive periodic approval from OMB to continue using the VETS-4212. The agency announced its request in the Federal Register on March 14, 2024.
