The Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment & Training Service (DOL-VETS) officially opened the 2020 filing season this week for the annual VETS-4212 report. The VETS4212 is a government form that covered federal contractors and subcontractors are required to file with DOL-VETS regarding the employment of protected veterans. Completed forms must be submitted to DOL-VETS by September 30, 2020.

DOL-VETS has confirmed that there are no changes to the filing specifications and procedures from the 2019 filing season. The “VETS-4212 Federal Contractor Reporting” homepage is available on the DOL-VETS website.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to ensure timely filing, DOL-VETS is encouraging filers to utilize their online login credentials to file their VETS-4212 reports electronically, rather than submitting the reports by mail for processing.
