We are pleased to present the latest edition in our “Interstate” memo series, a service to help employers stay on top of important new state and local workplace compliance developments.
Over the last four weeks, state and local governments have continued to respond to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, including the disruption it has had on the workplace, albeit not nearly at the same pace as we saw in April. And even with the ongoing focus on the virus – and perhaps not surprisingly – state and local legislators are still finding the time to enact other significant workplace laws impacting employers’ compliance obligations. These most recent developments are briefly summarized in this update.
