Even as the Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) continues its scrutiny of the audit and internal reporting obligations of federal contractors, the agency has offered little guidance regarding what it expects contractors to do to comply, especially with respect to internal reporting.
As a result, employers regularly ask us for guidance on what to include in the “reporting” portion of their audit and reporting activities. Thus, we are pleased to present the latest guide in our ongoing OFCCP Compliance Template Series with two model presentation templates – one for reporting to managers and supervisors and one for reporting to company policymakers – designed to help contractors meet their internal reporting obligations.
The templates should serve as a useful starting point and are designed to be customized to suit a contractor’s particular situation. Contractors also might find our templates helpful for preparing presentations outside of the audit and reporting context – for example, if a company executive simply wants an update on recent affirmative action activities and progress.
