NT Lakis has received and analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) on the demographic diversity of the nation’s college and university graduates for the 2013-2014 academic year.

The data, which come from the DOE’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), include detailed race/ethnicity, gender, and citizenship figures for nearly 3.9 million degree recipients by field of study, award level, and specific educational institution.

NT Lakis has prepared statistical tables for members of the Equal Employment Advisory Council (EEAC) to use when developing their compliance and diversity benchmarks for campus recruitment efforts. The tables contain the percentages of women, minorities, and individual race/ethnicity groups who have received associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees across 38 degree families.

This information can be especially helpful to employers in setting defensible affirmative action and diversity goals for their college and university recruitment initiatives.
