New York State Publishes Draft Guidance on Governor’s Executive Order Requiring Reporting of Summary Compensation Data by State Contractors

The New York State Department of Economic Development (NYSDED) has published draft guidance regarding implementation of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order (E.O.) 162, which requires covered state contractors and subcontractors to report summary compensation data to the state for contracts entered into on or after June 1, 2017.

Despite the delay in issuing the guidance, NYSDED is giving interested parties only until June 30, 2017, to submit public comments.
