The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has released a new Technical Assistance Guide (TAG) for federal construction contractors. Consistent with the agency’s ongoing compliance assistance efforts, the document presents a comprehensive overview of compliance requirements applicable to federal construction contractors and is aimed at helping contractors understand and comply with OFCCP requirements.
This is the first TAG geared explicitly toward construction contractors since 2009, and incorporates the significant changes made in 2014 when OFCCP overhauled its regulations addressing protected veterans and individuals with disabilities. The document also includes refreshed and reorganized content on topics including Executive Order 11246 requirements, adverse impact determinations, compliance reviews, and more.
OFCCP’s recently issued TAG for construction contractors can be found on the agency’s website.
