The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has officially launched a new online portal to serve as the preferred (albeit optional) means under which federal construction contractors comply with the current requirement to provide information to OFCCP regarding the award of certain federal construction subcontracts.
The new Notification of Construction Contract Award Portal (NCAP) essentially is an electronic version of the paper Form CC-314 currently used by covered construction contractors to comply. It became active on OFCCP’s website on August 26, 2022. As an incentive for using the portal in lieu of mailing a copy of the Form CC-314, covered construction contractors that use the portal will receive a confirmation that the required information has been submitted.
