President Trump announced recently that he has nominated current Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) Director Craig Leen to become Inspector General at the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), an appointment that requires confirmation by the U.S. Senate. His office has confirmed that Mr. Leen will continue to serve as OFCCP Director until the Senate acts, a process that could take weeks or even months.

This development provides an opportunity for us to bring you up to speed on other key personnel changes that have occurred at OFCCP over the last few months, including the recent appointment of new career Deputy Director Patricia Davidson. We should note that an uptick in staff turnover is not unusual in an election year.
