The Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has submitted a routine request to the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval to extend the agency’s regulations pertaining to construction contractors. If granted by OMB, such extensions normally are for three years.

OFCCP’s submission to OMB includes a new proposed online tool, the “Notification of Construction Contract Award Portal (NCAP),” through which contractors and federal contracting officers can notify OFCCP of construction contract and subcontract awards exceeding $10,000. The new portal, while optional, appears to be designed to facilitate the ability of contractors to notify OFCCP of such awards, which is required under longstanding OFCCP regulations pertaining to construction contractors.
