The Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has updated its annual national “veterans hiring benchmark” to 6.9%, down slightly from the 7.0% benchmark set a year ago. The revised benchmark reflects the most recent percentage of all veterans in the national civilian labor force, as calculated annually by the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
