The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is continuing to provide guidance to employers and other stakeholders regarding application of equal employment opportunity laws in light of the coronavirus outbreak by way of its online portal “What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Other EEO Laws.”

Last week, the EEOC added a dozen frequently asked questions (FAQs) and answers to its new online resource, focusing in particular on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and addressing such matters as confidentiality of medical records and reasonable accommodation requests, among others. The EEOC intends to add additional FAQs as they arise and encourages employers to contact the agency with issues that it can address through a FAQ.
