Reform of the U.S. immigration system has been a top priority for the current Administration since President Trump took office in January 2017, with a major focus on curbing alleged abuse of the popular H-1B visa. In the last couple of weeks alone, the Administration has taken three new actions that are likely to impact companies that employ nonimmigrant employees, and especially H-1B visa holders.
