NT Lakis professionals have prepared a number of tables that contain the most recent demographic data by award level for each of the 38 broad degree families in which postsecondary degrees were conferred by U.S. colleges and universities during the 2016-2017 academic year. The tables reflect demographic information contained in data files recently provided to us by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE).
In addition to the tables, which show only race/ethnicity, gender, and citizenship by degree category, we have loaded the complete IPEDS data into the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) online Graduate Diversity Data and Diversity Finder tools. These online tools allow users to extract more refined demographic data of graduates filtered by degree type and degree level at the national, state, or individual institution level, and allow the user to export the data to Excel for further analysis.
The IPEDS data tables and online tools have proven to be useful to employers in developing or refining their college and university recruitment strategy.
