Recent audits conducted by the Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) show that some compliance officers have been focusing on the contractor’s compliance with OFCCP’s “Internet Applicant” rule.
In light of this trend, NT Lakis attorneys and non-attorney professionals have put together a checklist to help companies inventory their recruitment and selection activities, determine which practices might need to be modified or discontinued, and ensure compliance with the rule’s recordkeeping requirements.
The checklist identifies 12 specific “environments” in which companies typically perform various recruitment and selection activities, and explains how OFCCP’s Internet Applicant rule might apply in each case.
