Earlier this year, NT Lakis attorneys sent a letter to Mick Mulvaney, the new director of the Trump Administration’s White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), asking the agency to reconsider its prior approval of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) expanded EEO-1 Report, which covered employers will have to start filing by March 31, 2018, unless it is withdrawn or modified.

With the recent Senate confirmation of Neomi Rao to head OMB’s Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA), the lead agency within OMB responsible for regulatory matters and information collection requests (such as the EEO-1 Report), we have written her reiterating our concerns regarding the expanded EEO-1 and again requesting OMB reconsider its prior approval.
