Without much fanfare, there has been a good deal of action within Congress recently to advance legislation designed to eliminate, or at least to limit, the use of pre-dispute binding arbitration agreements to resolve employment disputes. While the bills are being driven primarily by Congressional Democrats with the support of worker advocates, at least one of the bills being considered has bipartisan support, increasing its chances of becoming law sometime this year.
