Complying with a federal court order issued last week in National Women’s Law Center, et al. v. Office of Management and Budget, No. 17-cv-2458 (TSC), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has announced, through a combination of two notices issued this week, that covered employers will be required to submit so-called “Component 2” pay and hours worked data for both 2017 and 2018 by September 30, 2019. The EEOC intends to begin collecting the data in mid-July and will notify stakeholders of the precise date “as soon as it is available.”
