As part of the Biden Administration’s declaration of January 2022 as National Human Trafficking Prevention Month, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently held an online informational session entitled Modern Day Slavery: Combating Labor Trafficking under EEO Laws. The session provided participants with an informative summary of how Title VII of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) have been used to target human trafficking against both foreign- and native-born workers.
