Consistent with its focus on settling pending enforcement actions, and perhaps with some last minute cooperation by federal contractors unsure of what to expect under the new Biden Administration, the outgoing Trump Administration Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recently announced 11 new financial settlements just since our last update in December.
This latest batch of 11 financial settlements, posted in OFCCP’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Library, includes three Early Resolution Conciliation Agreements (ERCAs) and eight standard Conciliation Agreements (CAs). Notably, of these settlements, the majority were for alleged compensation discrimination, with the others for alleged hiring discrimination, including a couple that alleged hiring discrimination against men instead of women.
