The latest annual survey on corporate litigation trends conducted by the law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright LLP finds that while in-house lawyers at major U.S. companies expect overall litigation to remain steady in the year ahead, they continue to cite labor and employment claims — fueled by a perceived hyper-regulatory enforcement environment — as a main concern.
The law firm’s 12th annual litigation trends survey, which reflects the input of more than 600 corporate lawyers located both in the United States and abroad, included questions on a range of issues, such as what types of claims and disputes are of most concern to corporate counsel, how many lawsuits, arbitrations and/or administrative actions were filed against their firms in the past 12 months, and their perceptions of government regulatory activity.
