President Trump has nominated Houston lawyer M. Carter Crow to serve as the next General Counsel of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Crow is currently Global Head of Employment and Labor at international law firm Norton Rose Fulbright. Crow represents employers in employment litigation and class actions, especially wage and hour matters. Previously, he served as Parter-in-Charge of the firm’s Houston office and as President of the Houston Bar Association. Crow has an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
If confirmed, Crow would replace Acting General Counsel Catherine Eschbach. Crow is expected to align with the priorities of EEOC Chair Andrea Lucas, but the General Counsel position carries significant independent litigation authority.
