OFCCP has recently announced a number of settlements in the form of conciliation agreements, all dealing with audits going back three years or more.
While alleged discrimination in hiring at the entry level continues to be a focus, particularly in areas where the hiring and applicant volumes are high for relatively lower-skilled positions (where recordkeeping lapses are more common), the latest settlements also deal with some other issues of interest, including alleged compensation and pregnancy discrimination.
As a reminder, OFCCP now publishes on its website for public consumption the conciliation agreements dating from the beginning of 2015 to the present in virtually all financial settlements reached with a federal contractor.
