The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has published online its fiscal year 2021 advance notice list, formally known as the Corporate Scheduling Announcement List (CSAL), identifying some 750 federal contractor establishments (or functions) to be scheduled for an upcoming compliance evaluation.

This is the first CSAL posted since the Biden Administration assumed office, and signals that OFCCP intends to continue the practice of giving targeted federal contractor establishments a heads-up of a coming compliance audit, at least for now.

The FY 2021 CSAL list, posted on OFCCP’s website, indicates that a listed establishment has been flagged for one of the following types of reviews: (1) a standard compliance review (including universities and contractors with functional affirmative action programs); or (2) a corporate management compliance evaluation (CMCE).

OFCCP’s policy has been to give targeted establishments 45 days’ advance notice prior to sending a formal scheduling letter, and thus the earliest that OFCCP would begin mailing scheduling letters to establishments listed on the CSAL would be the week of August 16.
