Representatives from 75 companies attended the Center for Workplace Compliance’s (CWC) recent 2019 Policy Conference in Washington, DC.  The conference was facilitated by NT Lakis attorneys and non-attorney professionals.    

In addition to sessions led by NT Lakis staff experts, the conference featured presentations from a number of high-level government officials, including keynote presentations by EEOC Acting Chair Victoria A. Lipnic, OFCCP Director Craig E. Leen, NLRB Chair John F. Ring, Deputy Secretary of Labor Patrick Pizzella, and Keith Sonderling of the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division. 

Other speakers included Dr. Rashida Dorsey and Margaret Noonan of the EEOC’s Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics,Karen Harned of the NFIB Small Business Legal Center, Lisa Horn of SHRM, Callie Harman of the National Association of Manufacturers, and Tom Goldstein with SCOTUSblog.

As always, the conference also featured numerous opportunities for members to engage in both structured and non-structured peer-to-peer networking and benchmarking, all within a members-only, practitioner-centric setting.
