The Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association, has updated its subcontractor and vendor notification template to assist federal contractors in complying with Section 503 and VEVRAA.

This communication is mandated by OFCCP regulations implementing Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 4212 of the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act. CWC members may use the template to notify covered subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers of the employer’s affirmative action programs and policies and request appropriate action on their part.

CWC has modified the template to reflect the rescission of Executive Order 11246. Following that rescission, many federal contractors are taking steps to review and revise their procedures, policies, and other written materials that may refer to E.O. 11246 requirements.

Please recall that covered federal contractors may voluntarily comply with OFCCP regulations at 41 CFR Parts 60-1, 60-2, and 60-4 through April 20, 2025.
