The June 29, 2023, filing deadline looms for covered federal contractors to certify on the online Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI) from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) that they have developed and maintained Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs). While the 2023 AAP-VI certification process itself seems relatively straightforward, contractors continue to report challenges regarding specific compliance questions such as how to report roll-up AAPs, how to handle mergers and acquisitions, and whether they must list and certify establishments with fewer than 50 employees. Therefore, staff experts from the Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC) recently facilitated a virtual members-only roundtable to discuss AAP-VI compliance issues.
