The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has posted a new Corporate Scheduling Announcement List identifying 500 federal contractor establishments that it intends to audit in the near future. Unlike the essentially random methodology that OFCCP used to generate previous CSALs, the agency said this list explicitly targets contractors that did not certify compliance last year through the online Affirmative Action Program (AAP) verification portal. However, our affiliated nonprofit membership association, the Cetner for Workplace Compliance (CWC), already is receiving reports that there likely were at least some exceptions to this selection process. According to the CSAL, there will be 452 Establishment Reviews (standard compliance reviews), 24 Corporate Management Compliance Evaluation (CMCE) Reviews, and 24 Functional Affirmative Action Program (FAAP) Reviews.
