President Trump has designated Andrea Lucas as Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Lucas had been serving as Acting Chair since the start of President Trump’s second term. In conjunction with the new Republican majority on the EEOC, this move positions the agency to implement major policy changes and to take a more active enforcement stance once the federal government reopens.
