An updated narrative template for reporting on affirmative action programs for protected veterans and individuals with disabilities is available from the Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit membership association.
President Trump’s Executive Order 14173 rescinded the authority for developing AAPs for women and minorities under E.O. 11246 but did not change the recordkeeping, compliance, and reporting requirements for protected veterans or individuals with disabilities. OFCCP has indicated that it will continue to enforce these requirements.
CWC’s updated narrative template addresses all regulations and requirements enforced by OFCCP under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act. The template is designed to assist CWC’s federal contractor members in meeting their OFCCP compliance obligations toward protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
CWC structured and formatted the template to simplify narrative completion for each AAP and to allow plan owners to enhance or minimize content based on the activity levels described in the narrative.
