U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that administers the federal government’s online E-Verify program, has rolled out enhancements to the system as well as unveiled a redesigned and more “user- friendly” E-Verify website.

According to USCIS, these upgrades are designed to better users’ experience, reduce errors, and increase the speed and accuracy of the employment eligibility verification process.

The program improvements are described on the agency’s E-Verify Enhancements April 2018 webpage. The newly designed website is accessible at E-Verify.gov.
