Kenneth Wolfe has taken over as director of the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, according to DOL’s website and Wolfe’s LinkedIn profile. He replaces Ashley Romanias.

Wolfe also serves as director of DOL’s Center for Faith. Previously, he served at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in the Administration for Children and Families.

During President Trump’s second term, the OFCCP Director role has been relatively low-profile. Even so, the agency is moving several policy and operational priorities, including regulatory revisions following the rescission of Executive Order 11246 and proposed changes to Section 503 regulations implementing the Rehabilitation Act. The President’s budget proposes transferring some OFCCP functions to a new DOL Office of Civil Rights, but even if this occurs, the shift could require significant coordination to maintain continuity.
