The Center for Workplace Compliance (CWC), our affiliated nonprofit association, has updated its resource about the equal employment opportunity and affirmative action obligations that Wisconsin imposes on its contractors.

The Wisconsin Department of Administration manages Wisconsin’s contract compliance program. WDA has published guidance, forms, and templates for contractors’ affirmative action programs, as well as a short guidance document on AAP requirements. CWC’s Guide to Wisconsin State Contractor Affirmative Action Requirements will help CWC member organizations understand and comply with these requirements.

Many states and localities require companies seeking to do business with the jurisdiction to either maintain or submit an affirmative action program. Following the rescission of Executive Order 11246, many federal contractors have asked whether such state and local affirmative action requirements remain intact or whether AAP modifications will be needed. The answer varies by jurisdiction, so CWC will update many state and local guides that we released over the years to ensure that our members have timely compliance resources.
