Just days after receiving a formal request for approval from the Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Disregarding invited public comments, including those submitted by CWC, the Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has submitted a formal request to the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to approve – without any changes – its proposed Affirmative Action Program Verification Interface (AAP-VI).
The proposed AAP-VI is an online portal that if implemented will have to be used by federal contractors to certify annually that they have developed and maintained Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs) in accordance with OFCCP’s regulations, and to require them to upload their AAPs and supporting materials to the agency once selected for a compliance evaluation.
