The Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015 requires federal agencies to make annual inflation adjustments to the monetary penalties assessed for violations of the laws and regulations they enforce.  Under the law, agencies were required to announce the first round of inflation adjustments to their posting penalties by July 1.  In light of this recent deadline, NT Lakis attorneys and non-attorney professionals created a summary of all federal employment-related posting requirements currently in effect, along with the now-increased fines associated with failing to post.

In addition to capturing the increased fines, our summary includes information on the required contents of each posting, and a link to the relevant posters.

Our summary includes only the fines associated with failing to post federal employment posters and notices.  A complete list of other Department of Labor fines that have increased under the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015 can be found here.
